Before Summer started, Sim Chun-You (of https://vimeo.com/simchunyou) asked if I would like to texture his latest recreation project, which was based off a slow-motion shoot of apples attacking a watermelon, and I was more than happy to help! The watermelon was textured in Substance Painter, making using of the anchor function to change the layer around the stripes, and the rest of the assets were built in 3dsmax using textures extracted from photos via Bitmap2Material. If you are interested in how he created the amazing simulation, you can see his breakdown here: https://vimeo.com/350494470
