Gastrobar in Moscow city center Location: Small Gnezdnikovsky lane, 12 Area: 169 m2 Year: 2016 Client: Finoarte agency Interior Design: One of our tasks was to maximize the space of the room. While dismantling the ceiling, we found old wooden floors, which were restored. We also decided to leave the old brickwork as it is. All the complex elements of the room – columns, arches reinforced with metal beam, were supplemented with functional shelves and storage places, so bartenders and waiters working in the hall had a lot of additional space for storing kitchen utensils and dishes. Like at several other restaurants of the Upster Group, we abandoned the contact bar – this allowed us to save some space to increase the number of seats. Sixteen beer taps are built into the partition wall between the main hall and a special refrigerator room for beer and wine. The remaining walls of the room are made of glass, so guests can watch what is going on inside.
