My artistic practice deals with the delicate balance between the impersonal existence and the human soul with an ancient painting method, called encaustic (painting with melted, and coloured beewax). This constant duality raises countless questions in contemporory art, and draws a parallel with the modernity and traditional approach.

The organic beewax is a highly sacred material and has a complex symbol system. On the other hand, the bees existence is essential for the whole ecology, included the human life.
With my interiors and figurative paintings my intention is to discover hidden places in the subconscious. Querying the reality with the tools of grotesqueness and oddity is one of my aims. I try to place mental inquiry at the heart of each image I create.
