Marketing & Social Media Specialist

O&O Baukunst is looking for a Marketing & Social Media Strategist to join our team in Vienna. The ideal candidate is creative, motivated, organised, and loves architecture.

About O&O Baukunst:

The history of Ortner & Ortner dates back to 1970. The projects Ortner & Ortner worked on over the following 15 years shifted programmatically between the areas of free art and architecture. Many of them anticipated later developments and had a sustained influence on tendencies and directions. In the mid-1980s the interest moved increasingly to concrete building commissions. From this time onwards, Ortner & Ortner worked as an architects practice and in 1990 were commissioned to build one of the world‘s largest cultural centres - the Vienna Museumsquartier - which led to international acceptance. Since then, the scope of duties has expanded continuously. Besides further significant cultural buildings, numerous commercial and office buildings have been built.

What to expect:

Your role will be to manage various social media and digital channels, create and publish contents across all platforms, oversee and analyse campaign engagements and to participate in the implementation of outbound or inbound digital strategies through the following core activities.

Core activities:

Responsibilities for this role include, but are not limited to:

• Plan, coordinate, and oversee various marketing activities that build brand awareness
• Developing and maintaining O&O’s marketing strategy and public voice across various social media platforms
• Develop social media strategies to increase O&O brand awareness, engagement, likes and followers
• Develop, plan and manage the O&O editorial calendar, which is used for our social media & newsletter
• Create content in the form of text and photos for our media channels, such as writing promotional materials, website content, articles, publications, and other communication materials as required
• Assemble and send out regularly newsletter emails etc.
• Maintenance and running of the brand’s website
• Responsible for the accurate and timely reporting for month-end KPIs, tracking campaign engagement, data entry, and other ad-hoc projects.

Requirements:

The ideal candidate should:

• Have perfect skills in GERMAN and ENGLISH content writing.
• Have a thorough knowledge of social media platforms.
• Have a great understanding of content trends and be able to create strong content grids.
• Possess a love of architecture and a desire to share that love with others.
• Have experience working with architectural offices is desirable but not essential.
• Be proficient in using social media, including Instagram, Facebook and LinkedIn.
• Possess strong planning, written and verbal communication skills.
• Be able to coordinate multiple projects simultaneously by effectively managing your time and priorities.
• Have the ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
• Be results-oriented, resourceful, responsible and autonomous.
• Have a working familiarity with the Adobe Creative Suite.

This is a part time job, ranging from 20 to 25 hours per week with a payment that is negotiable depending on experience. We are flexible to make this work for the right candidate.
